Meet Jonathan Harrison Kovacs

Welcome! My mission is to educate, empower and help people in all aspects of fitness, lifestyle and nutrition. I'll be sharing my thoughts and opinions on fitness and health products, industry topics, nutrition and trends.

I started out as a Personal Trainer and quickly uncovered that the most clients that saw the biggest changes were the ones that incorporated a holistic approach to their fitness goals. Rather then just focusing on exercising as a means to achieve their goals, they actually focused on rest, recovery, sleep, nutrition, stress management and hydration.

 

The clients that focused mostly on exercise had a much more difficult time getting to their health and fitness goals! And when they would eventually reach their goals, many often could not sustain  their goals and would rebound back to their original position 3 months later.

This realization led me to learn from the best, so I saved up a lot of money and educated myself at the C.H.E.K Institute in California. 

​

Upon returning I was no longer a Personal Trainer, but instead a Holistic Health Coach. I still perform and educate exercise and personal training to my clients, but this is only one principle of what you need to achieve optimal health. I would say about 90-95% of people need to focus more on the other five principles which are eating, drinking, sleeping, breathing and thinking (the sixth principle being movement).

Holistic Harrison represents my experiences, opinions, thoughts, ideas and philosophies about everything relating to fitness, lifestyle and nutrition.
